Fall Collection Recipe 2: Fresh Strawberry Frosting

I know the strawberry frosting is more of a summer thing, but you can never go wrong with fresh strawberries.  This frosting is so delicious.  It tastes like fresh strawberry ice cream, except for the fact that it is frosting.

The recipe is in my "Recipe Index." It is titled "Fresh Strawberry Frosting.

Unique Cards for a Class

I made some unique cards for a class that my mom teaches. Each cards has a stamp that resembles the child. I used the Stampabilities clear family stamps and a Stampabilities clear mounting block. For the black ink I used a simple black pigment ink pad.

Super EASY Delicious Pie Crust

This pie crust is so incredibly easy for every sweet and/or savory pie that you make! It's super tasty too;)

•1 cup + 2 tbsp. all purpose flour
•1/2 tsp. table salt
•1/3 cup canola oil
•2 tbsp. ice cold water

Preheat oven to 350 degrees fahrenheit. Now, mix together the flour, salt, and oil. Be sure to not overmix it. Then add in the cold water. Make sure that it is ICE cold!! Stir with a fork and then make a ball with your hands. DO NOT OVERWORK it! Ok now take 2 large pieces of wax paper. Put the ball of dough in between the sheets of wax paper and roll with a rolling pin. Make sure it is larger than your pie pan. Now peel off one side of the paper BUT leave the other side on. Put the it in the pie pan with the dough side in the pan. That can be a bit confusing but there are pictures to hopefully help you! Slowly, peel off the other side of wax paper. ( the one on top) Do not stretch the crust just lay flatly in the pan. Be sure to make a pretty edging:) If you are baking the crust without your filling in it, poke fork holes in the bottom. Bake until golden brown or if you have a filling that needs to be baked follow those directions.
